Quebec public sector employees hold more walkouts today

The Eastern Townships, the Montrgie, Centre-du-Qubec and Mauricie will be affected today, along with Quebec's largest school board the Commission scolaire de Montral.

Quebec public sector employees are taking part in more walkouts today as part ofa series of rotating strikes across the province.

Teachers, health-care professionals and civil servants are walking off the job this week to protest stalled negotiations with the provincial government.

CEGEPs, schools and daycares in theEastern Townships, theMontrgie, Centre-du-QubecandMauricie will be affected. This strike involves over 28,000 public sector workers.

TheCommissionscolairedeMontral, Quebec's largest school board,will also be on strike Wednesday through Thursday.

Teachers at theRiverside School Boardon Montreal's South Shore are also on strike.
