Richard Bain murder trial hears guns in SUV were loaded, ready to fire
Parti Qubcois election-night shooting trial enters 3rd week
Richard Bain's SUV was found outside thePartiQubcoiselection-nightparty with two loaded semi-automatic rifles and a handgun, ready to firewith bullets in their chambers, a jury has heard.
The third week of Bain's first-degree murdertrial began Monday withtestimony from a member of the Montreal Police tactical unit.

Bain, 65,is accused of first-degree murder in the deathof lighting technician DenisBlanchette.He alsofaces three countsof attempted murder, as well as charges ofarson and possession of an incendiary device.
On Friday, the jury at the Montreal courthouseheard from a security guard who testified about running after and tackling Bain.
The trial began on June 9 and is expectedto continue until mid-July.
