Richard Bain is accused of first-degree murder in the deadly shooting at Montreal's Metropolis theatre, which left stagehand Denis Blanchette dead and his colleague Dave Courage seriously injured.
The Crown arguedBain went to the Parti Qubcois victory rally with the intent to kill.
But the defence contends Bain should not be held criminally responsible because he was delusional.
