St-Henri Chronicles: About the journalists

St-Henri Chronicles is a collaboration between the Department of Journalism at Concordia University and CBC Montreal.

Concordia University journalism series explores changing Montreal neighbourhood

St-Henri Chronicles is a collaboration between the Department of Journalism at Concordia University, and CBC Montreal. Students in a graduate-level multimedia course were asked to find and produce original stories on St-Henri for their final class project.

They spent the winter term developing these stories, and experimented with sound, pictures, video, infographics and maps to tell them.

Miriam Barchilon Elbaz is a journalism exchange student from Spain. Her main interests are data journalism and politics. Next year, she'll be finishing her journalism degree at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.

Chelsea Berne is a graduate of Concordia University where she earned a bachelor's degree with a major in journalism and English literature, and minor in professional writing.

She is a freelance journalist, who has fallen in love with the world of broadcast journalism, especially radio.
