UPAC investigators raid Dcoration Pinceau in Ahuntsic

Quebec's anti-corruptionunit has raideda painting business in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville.

UPAC investigators aresearching for evidence of an alleged licensing scheme involvingDcoration Pinceau, whichprovides interior and exterior painting services.

The business islocated on Port Royal Street East in the northMontreal borough.

UPAC spokeswoman Anne-Frdrick Laurence said the alleged schemeinvolved hiringcompanies to do work, even if they did not havelicences, which are required by law.

A woman who answered the phone at the business said she had no comment on the ongoing raid.
