19-year-old man killed in 2-vehicle crash near Tracadie

A 19-year-old man from Haut-Rivire-du-Portage, N.B., died following a two-vehicle collision near Tracadie, on Friday evening.

According to a release, Tracadie and Neguac RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a truck and a car on Highway 370 in Pont-Lafrance around 6:45 p.m.

The driver and sole occupant of the car was transported to the hospital and later died of his injuries, the release says. The driver and sole occupant of the truck had minor injuries.

An investigation is underway.
