Sgt. Stephen Davidson will be back on the stand Thursday morning
The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland will continue Thursday morning in Saint John with the testimony ofConst. Stephen Davidson.
Davidson,a 12-year veteran who had only joined the major crime unit a few days earlier and eventually became its lead investigator, interviewed Dennis Olandthe day his father, Richard Oland'sbody was found face down in a pool of blood in his uptown investment firm office.

The interview, which was shown to the jury this week, showed Davidsongrilling Dennis Olandabout his account of events, includingtimes, theroutes he took, where he parked his carand anystops he made.
During the interview Davidson asked Olandif he couldthink of anyone else who would "have an interest" in killing his father. "Whowould benefit from that the most?"
"I think he's pissed a lot of people off, but not to that point where someone would, you know, would want to want to kill somebody," said Oland.
