Dennis Oland's second-degree murder trial coverage: Sept. 18

Dennis Oland's defence team will continue its efforts to expose holes in the Crown's theory about his father's murder when the second-degree murder trial resumeson Friday.

Richard Oland, the prominent Saint John businessman, had suffered 46 blows to his body, including six defensive wounds to his hands and 40 sharp- or blunt-force injuries to his head and neck in July 2011.

The cross-examination of Maureen Adamson, Richard Oland'sformer secretary,is expected to continue this morning at 9:30 a.m.

DennisOland, 46, is the last known person to have seen his fatheralive.
