The levels have fallen well belowbelow flood stage and are forecast to continue to decline toward normal levels, the organization said in a statement.

As a result, the River Watch 2015 spring freshet river forecasting operation has officially concluded, it said.

The River Watch website and the River Watch hotline will no longer be updated.

Environment and Local Government's hydrology centre and Public Safety's Emergency Measures Organization have returned to normal operations of monitoring rivers and approaching weather systems to initiate advisories and forecasting services, as conditions warrant, the statement said.

The St. John River reached flood levels in several areas lastmonth, including Fredericton and Jemseg.

In Perth-Andover, amandatory evacuation order was put in place anda local state of emergency was declared over concerns about potential flooding.
