Moncton woman dies in collision between motorcycle and car

A 41-year-old woman was killed on Thursday when her motorcycle slammed into a car in Moncton.

Codiac RCMP are still investigating the accident to determine the cause

A 41-year-old woman was killed on Thursday when her motorcycle slammed into a car in Moncton.

The crash happened at 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Mountain Road and Plaza Boulevard, according to the Codiac RCMP.

The RCMP said in a statement the motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.

The vehicle's driver, however, was not injured.

The police are still investigating the accident to determine the cause.

It is believed the crash happened as the car that was heading north collided withthe motorcycle, which wastravelling southbound on Mountain Road.
