A traffic plan has been created by RCMP ahead of this weekends Bruce Springsteen concert at Magnetic Hill in Moncton.

Traffic flow on Front Mountain Road will be reduced from two-way traffic to one-way beginning at 3 p.m. on Sunday, according to RCMP.

Motorists will only be allowed to travel west from Gorge Road to Route 126, to create more space for pedestrians.

Motorists travellinginto Monctonon the Trans-Canada Highway, whoare planning to use parking lots on Mountain Road, are advised to use exit 452 at the Gorge Road.

Beginning at 10 p.m. motorists wont be able to go north on Mountain Road from the intersection of Casino Drive to the Magnetic Hill entrance.

Traffic will also be blocked from heading north on Gorge Road at the intersection with King's Bridge Street, to allowvehicles and pedestrians to leave the area faster.

"It's never easy getting tens of thousands of people into and out of one particular area but this plan worked well for the Nickelback concert," Cpl. Mike Gaudet said in a release.

"Plan ahead, be patient and give yourself extra time to get in and out of the concert site."
