A Memorial University of Newfoundland professor says there maybe some difficult questions for the leader of the Bloc Qubcois when he speaks in St. John's on Wednesday.

A professor at Memorial University of Newfoundlandsays there couldbe somedifficult questions fortheleader of the Bloc Qubcois when he speaks in St. John's on Wednesday.

Gilles Duceppe will be speaking at Memorial Universityat noon. He's going to talkabout the 20-year history of the Bloc Qubcois.

A political science professor at the university said the visit should spark some interesting debate.

"This province in particular has had a history of issues with Quebec and I think whenever a Quebec politician visits these will be brought up and enunciated, within the context of a sovereign or federalist Quebec," said Christopher Dunn, a Memorial University Political Science Professor.

The talkin room EN-2006 is open to allstudents at Memorial.

Newfoundland and Labrador recently launched court action to try to compel Quebec to reopen the terms of a contract signed in the 1960stosell hydroelectric power from the Churchill Falls facility in Labrador.

Newfoundland and Labrador argues the contractunfairly gives Quebec a greater share of the profits generated by Churchill Falls.
