Woman arrested for assaulting 3 officers in C.B.S.

A woman was arrestedin ConceptionBay South Sunday morning for assaulting police officers.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to a disturbance in the Legion Road area around 7:45 a.m.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assaulting three police officers.

The woman was taken into custody and brought to hospital for medical assessment.

Police said while in hospital, she continued to be uncooperative and was charged with causing a disturbance.

The woman was held in custody for a court appearance.
