The landscape of late night television will soon change with the retirement of long-time talk show host David Letterman, and fellow comedian Steve Martin predicts the 68-year-old may spend some time in Newfoundland.

Martin paid homage to Letterman on The Late Show on CBS Friday night, with a video suggesting all the things Letterman could do during his retirement.

Aside from pill-sorting andchowing down at Golden Corral, Martin said Letterman will "vacation alone on the beautiful beaches of Newfoundland." [Martin may need some work on the pronunciation.]

Letterman's last night on the desk is May 20. He will be replaced by Stephen Colbert.
