Bring them back! Customers swiping glasses, Port Rexton Brewing says

A new brewery on the Bonavista Peninsula is turning to social media to make an interesting plea for customers to return its beer glasses.

A new brewery on the Bonavista Peninsula is turning to social media to make an interesting plea forcustomers to return any stolen beer glasses.

The Port RextonBrewing Company posted on Facebook that visitors have been showing up to sample from itstap room, but are pocketing theirbranded sampler glasses on the way out.

The owners said they understand the samplers make great souvenirs, but they've had to cancel tastings because they're running so low on glasses that they've had to order more.

The brewery is asking samplerbandits to return any takenglasses, so everyone can take part in a tasting this holiday weekend.

The company posted on Instagram Monday that Quidi Vidi Brewery in St. John's came to its rescue and isshipping out a box of Quidi Vidi sampler glasses.

"This is why we love this industry," Port Rexton Brewing posted.
