Longer wait for X-rays in Gander

Patients will have to wait longer for an X-ray in Central Newfoundland. The James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander is replacing x-ray equipment to upgrade services.

Patients will have to wait longer for an x-ray in Central Newfoundland.

TheJamesPatonMemorial Regional Health Centre in Gander isreplacing X-ray equipment toupgrade its X-ray services.

Thedelay will only affect routine X-rays and isexpected to last untilNovember 20.

Priority will be given to emergencies and patientsadmitted to the hospital or attending a hospital clinic.

Otherdiagnostic imaging appointments forCT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography and MRI will go ahead as scheduled.
