Possible witness in Marcel Reardon homicide investigation identified

Police in St. John's say they havesuccessfully identified a man they believe could be a witness in the Marcel Reardon homicide investigation.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says it's located the man who was seen in downtown St. John's.

The body ofReardon, 46, was found outside a Brazil Street apartment building in St. John's May 9.

Camera footage from that night showed a man who was seen in the Adelaide Street and George Street area shortly before 1 a.m.

Police released the man's photo last week, in the hopes someone would come forward to identify him.

The RNC said it isbelieved the man could be a potential witness.

Anne Norris, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder in Reardon's death.
