Avalon MP Scott Andrews has received a copy of the executive summary of the investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct and will review it with his lawyers.

In a statement released earlier Wednesday, Andrews said he was "astounded" by media reports that he would be ejected from the federal Liberal caucus.

It said Andrews hadnot spoken to party leader Justin Trudeau about the report by Cynthia Petersen, who was hired to look into allegations of sexual misconduct by Andrews and Montreal MP MassimoPacetti, before reports surfaced that he would be booted from caucus.

Trudeau suspended Andrews andPacettilast November following complaints made by twoNDPMPs.

CBC News has confirmed that the investigation identified two more potential complainants. Only one NDP MP cooperated with the investigation.

"He isdisappointed to learn that unscrupulous unnamed sources have chosen tocommunicate through the media rather than respect the process and those affectedMr. Andrews is waiting for a copy of the Petersen Report and communication fromthe Liberal Party of Canada," the release stated.

The statement said Andrews cooperated with the investigation, andhe will not be commenting on the report before reviewing the report.

Both men deny the allegations against them.
