MusicNL: Industry awards recognize those behind the music

MusicNLhas handed out somehardware during awards week in Corner Brook.

While the main awards gala is Sunday evening, MusicNL recognized some of the hard-working peoplewho work behind the scenes on Saturday.

Chad Pelley of The Overcast took home the Media Person of the Year award.

Tony Murray was named Industry Professional of the Year.

The award for Graphic Artist went to JudHaynes, whileMusicNL named The Overcast as Outstanding Company.

Springdale teacher Adam Baxter won Music Educator of the Year; and Don-E Coady earned aMusicNL trophy for Volunteer of the Year.
