N.L. premier shuffles cabinet

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Kathy Dunderdale shuffled her cabinet Monday morning.

Shawn Skinner, the former minister of innovation, trade and rural development and minister responsible for the rural secretariat, was appointed minister of natural resources.

Susan Sullivan, the former minister of human resources, labour and employment,was appointed minister of innovation, trade and rural development andthestatus of women

Joan Burke was appointed acting minister of human resources, labour and employment and remains the minister for child, youth and family services.

Dunderdale, who is the former minister of natural resources,was sworn in as premier on Friday.

Former premier Danny Williams resigned on Nov. 25.

The provincial house of assembly is scheduled to open Monday afternoon.
