N.L. taxi driver charged with sexual assault

Police in Newfoundland and Labrador have arrested ataxi driver forsexual assault, alleging he was operating a cab at the time of the incident.

The RNC have charged32-year-old Lulzim Jakupaj, also known as Leon,with one count of sexual assault and one count of breaking and entering in relation to two separate complaints the force received this year.

Police say they received complaints in April and May about Jakupaj, and "it is alleged Jakupaj was operating a taxi cab during the commission of these offences."

The man has been arrested on Friday and is being held in custody.

The Facebook profile for a Leon Jakupajof St. John's shows that heis working as a driver with City Wide Taxi.

The RNC say their investigation into the complaints remains on-going, and have put out a public call for help.
