On Thursday's CrossTalk: Date rape drugs

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary warning - was it done in the right way?

Earlier this month, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary issued a warning.

Women who'd been at public establishments in downtown St. John's believe someone slipped drugs into their drinks before sexually assaulting them.

The police warned women not to leave their drinks unattended, and to stick close to friends.

That's generated a lot of reaction, with some people saying it amounted to victim-blaming.

Did the RNC warn about date-rape drugs in the right way?

Phone in to speak with Jenny Wright of the St. John's Status of Women Council.

And lawyer Geoff Budden.

Here's how to get in touch. Call 709-722-7111 in the St. John's area, or toll-free 1-800-563-8255.
