Family members of TriffieWadmanwereremembering the slain woman Fridayin victim impact statementsbeing delivered at thesentencing hearing for her killer,Trevor Pardy.

Last week,Pardywas found guilty of the first-degree murder ofWadman, meaning he will serve at least 25 years in prison before being eligible for parole.

Several members of Wadman's family gave emotional statements in court on Friday, including her daughter and two sisters.

Terra Wadman, 14, was crying when shedescribed her mother as a wonderful woman that will now miss out important milestones in her life. TerraWadman was just 10 when Pardyshot and killed her motherin 2011.

"TriffieWadmanwas more than a mother to me, she was my role model from the tme I could walk," she said.

"There are things that my mom will never get to witness and things I'll never get to share with my mother. When I graduate high school, or the day of my prom, or walking me down the aisle when I get married."

SerinaWadman, Triffie Wadman's sister, said it was too painful for her parents to give a statement, saying noparent should have to bury a child. She said Triffie's father "goes to her grave each day to be with her."

As for herself, Serina Wadman said she had shut herself down to the point were she didn't want to go out.

"You marked me as that poor girl'ssister," she told the court. "Ya know, the girl shot in the street."

She said Triffie should have been there for her,to hold her hand when she delivered her baby four months premature.

Pardy, 38, was found guilty by an 11-person jury lastFriday of first-degree murderafter less than two hours of deliberation.

SincePardyis convicted of first-degree murder, he won't be eligible for parole for at least 25 years.
