RNC search for 'wanted man' Robert Newell, suspect in 10 thefts

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is distributing photographs ofa man suspected of severalthefts on the northeast Avalon.

Police postedthe mug shotsof Robert Newell, 33, on the RNC's FacebookpageTuesday, sayingwarrants have been issued for his arrest on 10 charges of theft under$5,000 as well as20 breaches of court orders.

Newell is also a suspect in several ongoing theft investigations, police said, and other warrants have been requested,

According to the RNC, Newell may have a goatee or facial hair.
