Premier Paul Davis hastaken a swipe at Conservative leader Stephen Harper in letters to the leaders of the four main federal parties, asking where they standon issues pertainingto Newfoundland and Labrador.

The letters, which Davis sent toHarper, the Liberal's Justin Trudeau, the NDP's Thomas Mulcair and Green Party's Elizabeth May, pose similar questions to each candidate.

Davis is seeking to clarify their positionson issues such as marine search and rescue, 5 Wing Goose Bay, and fishquotas.

In his letter to Harper, Davis slammed the Conservatives' denial of a $400 million dollar fisheries fund for the province as part of the Canada-EUComprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

In his letters to Mulcair, and Trudeau, Davis commended their respective parties' support for such a fund.
