RNC says it has suspects in Boyle Street shooting

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says it has identified suspects in the Boyle Street shooting earlier this month in St. Johns, though police have not indicated any arrests in the case.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says it has identified suspects in the Boyle Street shooting earlier this month in St. Johns, though police have not indicated any arrests in the case.

Investigating officers have confirmed that they have identified suspects in this case and have determined that this was not a random act, said RNC Const. Steve Curnew in a statement.

Police swarmed the Boyle Street area late on the night of Sept. 13 after bullets were sprayed near the intersection with AnspachStreet.

Sean Frampton, 26, was wounded with multiple gunshot wounds.

The RNC has saidthat the victim isknown to them, but has not confirmedFrampton's identity.

Frampton was acquitted of armed robbery in March.

Though the forcesaid it has identified suspects in the shooting, the RNCis still asking anyone who may know something else about the incident to get in contact with them
