Clifford Doran captured great video of a group of moose walking in the fog in Trepassey this week.

A video of a group of moose together on Newfoundland's AvalonPeninsula is dazzling thousands who have viewed or shared it on social media.

Clifford Doranwas out arounddawn onAug. 16, when he saw the animals off in the distance near the Shoal Point area of his hometown ofTrepasseywhich is locatedon the southeast corner of the Avalon.

Doran told CBC he knew the scenewas unusual, given the beautiful colours and the fact that so manymoose couldbe seen assilhouettes against the hazy morning sky.

So, using his high-definitionSLR camera,he managed to get a video and a few photos.

However, Doransaid he didn't expect the reaction to be so great, with more than 2,000 views within the first few days he sharedit on Facebook, and a few people already getting in touch to ask for large prints of the photos.
