Drugs stolen in Shoppers Drug Mart robbery; suspects at large

Police in St. John's are looking for two men who robbed a drug store Sunday evening.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called around 6:30 p.m. to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Freshwater Road.

Two armed men robbed the drug store. Police said drugs were stolen from the pharmacy portion of the store.

Police did not specify what kind of weapon was used.

The RNC said Monday morning there had not yet been any arrests and that the investigation was ongoing.
