From 1992, a competition at Mount Pearl's annual winter festival.
The Frosty Festival got underwayThursdayinMount Pearl and will run until Feb. 14.
The annual winter celebration includes many events like dart tournaments, chili cookoffs andlip sync contests.
In this week's #ThrowbackThursday video feature, we have a performance from thelip sync contest in1992.
The winnersin the under-12 age groupwere from the Grade 3class at St.Peter's Primary School.
The performance includedColin Furlong as leadsinger, Jonathan Murphy on drums andScottJewerand Neil McDonald were onguitar.
