#TBT: Up on the highway in the gravel pit

As CBC reporter Azzo Rezori said back in 1992, "You can count on two things this time of the year:people heading out on the road and Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers laughing about it all."

With the Victoria Day weekend approaching, it's hard not to hear The Gravel Pit Song. It's the unofficial theme song for the holiday, and this week's #ThrowbackThursday features a performance from the band.

The song celebrates those who love camping enough to gamble on the late May weather, even if it means spending the weekend in a gravel pit on the side of the highway.

The forecast actually looks good for the May 24th holiday weekend this year, so pack up the camping gear and hit the pits.
