Teens attack girl as others record videos

Two teenage girls beat up another girl as about a dozen students watched and recorded it on their cell phones.

Police in Blaketown responded to a shocking case of violent bullying on Friday afternoon.

Two teenage girls beat up another girl near Crescent Collegiate, knocking her into a ditch and punching her repeatedly.

About a dozen students were standing around watching the beating and recording it on their cell phones, say the RCMP.

The attack was interrupted by a neighbour who broke up the fight.

Two girls, 13 and 15, were charged with assault causing bodily harm. They were released into their parents' custody and have court dates in December.

Other students could also face charges based on evidence in the videos.

The victim, 13, was treated for minor injuries at the clinic in Whitbourne, and released.
