In this week's edition of #ThrowbackThursday, our archival video is fromMarch 1994.

Juanita Barry reported the story for Here & Now, of how women werepermitted to walk in the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. John's, as members of the Benevolent Irish Society.

The club first formed in February 1806, and for the next 188 years, it was strictly a men-only fraternity.
