Tom Cochrane, Collective Soul added to Salmon Festival lineup

The Salmon Festival in Grand Falls-Windsor this July will have a true classic-rock vibe, as organizers on Thursday announced the full lineup.

Joining headliner John Fogertywhose appearance was announced last month will beTom Cochrane with Red Rider, Collective Soul, America and The Fables.

The full-day concert will be held July 11, the same day that Rod Stewart will headline a festival in St. John's.

The Salmon Festival, which aimed for a younger demographic last year with headliner Maroon 5, wound up losing money.

Festival chair Darren Finn, a councillor with the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor, said the festival will "present a day chock-full of classic rock music."

Tickets for the festival go on sale April 17.Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
