Dramatic 911 call from witness describes night of Triffie Wadman shooting

A man who heard gunshots on Boggy Hall Place the morning Triffie Wadman was killed was called to the stand Friday at Trevor Pardy's first-degree murder trial.

AndrewBown, who lived on the St. John'scul de sac at the time, called police around 1 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2011 after he said he heard a gunshot.

"I'm on Boggy Hall Place and I think somebody's just been shot outside my house,"Bowntold an RNC dispatcher.

Bownsaid he saw what appeared to be two men fighting on the street and heard two gun shotsthat were 20 to 30 seconds apart.

"It looks like one of them [is]on the ground,"Bownsaid the morning of the shooting.

"There's one guy stood up in the street. I don'tknowwhat's going on. I'm too afraid to look out the window, to be honest," Bown told a dispatcher.

Bown said he watched the incident unfold until it concluded, with police arresting Pardy.

Wadman, 30, died later in hospital.
