Woman killed in single-vehicle crash on Buchans Highway

One woman has been killed following a single-vehicle collision on the Buchans Highway Friday afternoon.

Shortly after 2:15 p.m., Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to an accident in which one driver and two passengers were taken to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to Grand Falls-Windsor where police said shedied as a result of her injuries.

The twopassengers were taken to hospital in Buchans andwere later released with minor injuries.

RCMP and traffic services are investigating the cause of the collision.
