Arrest made in Apex sudden death

Iqaluit RCMP have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a sudden death in Apex.

Iqaluit RCMP have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a sudden death in Apex overnight, which police are treating as "suspicious."

Early Friday morning, police responded to a report of an unresponsive 23-year-old man at a home in Apex, according to an RCMPstatement.

The man was rushed to the hospital, and later pronounced dead.

Police made the arrest shortly after noon, but the man hasn't been charged.

The RCMP's Major Crime Unit is investigating, with help from the Forensic Identification Section.
