Iqaluit's Arctic Ventures Marketplace was robbed last night at approximately 9 p.m.

Lillian Choi, a communications manager for Arctic Co-operatives, said in a statement that the robbery was a result of an individual approaching a store till. The store was fully staffed at the time, and nobody was injured.

Choi declined to provide further details, stating that the incident is now under investigation by the RCMP.

Arctic Ventures is one of two primary grocery and department stores in Iqaluit.
