A man involved in a single vehicle accident in the Yukon is blaming the mosquitos.

At about 9:30 p.m. on Monday evening, a 29-year-old man rolled his vehicle off the North Klondike highway, close to the Lake Laberge campground just north of Whitehorse.

The man is from Alberta.

He told the RCMP he was trying to swat mosquitos inside his car when the accident happened.

The man is fine.

There's no word on the mosquito.
