Deh Cho MLA Michael Nadli pleads guilty to assault

A Northwest Territories MLApleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm Thursdaymorning in a Yellowknife courtroom.

Michael Nadli, MLA for Deh Cho, wascharged two months agoafter an incident at a Fort Providence home.

The victim was treated at the local health centre for non-life-threatening injuries.

This is the second time Nadli has pleaded guilty to an assault charge. Eleven years ago he was sentenced to six months of probation for another assault.
