77-year-old N.W.T. woman charged with drug trafficking
2 women charged after cocaine, marijuana, codeine and meth found in vehicle
Two women, ages 55 and 77, from Ndilohave been charged with drug trafficking following a traffic stop on the highway near Fort Providence, N.W.T.
Police say they seized1.7 kilograms of cocaine, 5.4 kilograms of marijuana, fivelitres of liquid codeine, and 85 grams of a substance believed to be crystal methamphetamine or MDMAduring the checkstop on Friday.Police say a2014 Ford Escape was also seized.
Both women were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They have been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
