RCMP in Iqaluit are investigating a series of break and enters in the Apex area.

Police say they've received six complaints so far this month, and only one case has been solved.

"There's been a male adult charged," says Cpl. David Lawson, with the Nunavut RCMP.

"The rest of them are still under investigation. We don't believe any of them are related."

Someone broke into Steve Pinksen's house last week and stole some tools, after smashing a window.

"I called the RCMP, and two officers came out shortly afterwards," Pinksen says.

"They took a look around, but there wasn't any real evidence to indicate who it might have been or anything like that."

It's the second time Pinksen has been robbed inIqaluit.

Several other people have complained of break-ins and thefts on social media.

RCMP say residents should report any incidents to the Iqaluit detachment, or call Crime Stoppers.
