RCMP officials in Iqaluit have postponed a community search for Jake Angurasuk due to poor weather conditions.

Angurasuk, a homeless man living in Iqaluit, has not been seen at the Uquutaq Men's Shelter since Dec. 4. He is a 29-year-old Inuk man, with collar-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Friends, family, community members and RCMP have been looking for Angurasuk and a community-wide search had been planned for Saturday.

That will now take place Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. Participants in the search must register at the Iqaluit Wildlife Office.
