Members of the media and local business community got a sneak peek yesterday of the Mount Sima Alpine Adventure Park.

The park features a panoramic platform at the top of the chairlift, a mountain bike course and an aerial adventure course complete with zip lines.

Neil Hartling is chair of the Tourism Industry Association of Yukon.

"It's products like this that bring, that draw people, that give them something to do at the destination. And we like to say add sizzle to the steak, and so this I think unquestionably gives us some great sizzle to the Yukon steak and we're very exciting to see this unfolding," said Neil Hartling, the chair of the Tourism Industry Association of Yukon.

The park recently got $1.3 million from the City of Whitehorse. It is set to open June 1.
