CBC North hosts justice forum for Iqaluit high school students

On Thursday, CBC North hosted a screening of the Clyde River-produced film Tony: Back from the Brink in Iqaluit for students at Inuksuk High School. Following the screening, students took part in a forum about justice and healing.

On Thursday in Iqaluit,CBC Northhostede ascreening of Tony: Back from the Brink for students of Inuksuk High School. The film tellsthe story of Tony Kalluk, an Inukformer violent criminal on the road to redemption and his experience through the Canadian justice and prison system.

Following the screening a forum was held, where youthoffered their thoughts on how to create a community justice system that truly heals and how to provide supports that may prevent future struggles like Tony's.
