Whitehorse youth charged in Epic Pizza break-in

The suspect in a break-in at a Riverdale pizzeria was found by police attempting to ride a bicycle while carrying three bottles of liquor.

A youth has been arrested in connection with a break-in at Epic Pizza in Whitehorse'sRiverdale neighbourhood onMondaynight.

Police saya witness reported seeing a male youth breaking glass at the restaurant at around 7 p.m.The youth entered the premises and leftwith bottles of alcohol.

The caller gave the police a detailed description of the suspect and his direction of travel.

Police located thesuspect travelling northbound on Lewes Boulevardby the Robert Campbell Bridge. They say he was attempting to ride abicyclewhile carrying three bottles of liquor.

A 17-year-old male was arrested and has been charged with break and enter.
