Yellowknife Forrest Drive assault case reopened

New information has led to the reopening of a case of a teenaged girl assaulted on Forrest Drive near Tommy Forrest Park July 21.

New information on a July assault in Yellowknife has led to the case being reopened.

A teenaged girl reported being assaulted on Forrest Drive near Tommy Forrest Park July 21.

At that time Yellowknife RCMP said they had no witnesses or evidence so the case was closed.

Meanwhile, RCMP say the investigations into two sexual assaults continue.

One is alleged to have happened on the Frame Lake trail near city hall, the other in a home on Sissons Court.
