Yellowknife RCMP seize cocaine and cash in 2 raids

Yellowknife RCMP seized cocaine, cash and a long-barrel firearm during two raids in the city Tuesday night.

The raids took place in the downtown area and Northlands Trailer Park.Four men and one woman have been taken into custody but no charges have been laid yet.

Police say the activities at the residences wereassociated with the 856 Gang from B.C.

Last Decemberpolice seized firearms, cash and drugs from members believed to be part of the same gang.
