Yellowknife RCMP treating John Wifladt's death as a homicide

Yellowknife RCMP confirmed Friday they are treating the death of John Wifladt as a homicide.

39-year-old died after being found unconscious and injured in apartment

Yellowknife RCMP confirmed Friday they are treating the death of John Wifladt as a homicide.

The 39-year-old was one of two men found seriously injured on Dec. 14 in the SunridgePlace apartments in Yellowknife. He died later in hospital.

Wifladt's friendColin Digness was also found injured in the apartment. Hewas medevacedto Edmonton and RCMP say he remains in hospital.
