As East Coast Music Week in Newfoundland nears an end, hundreds of musicians spent the week performing, winningawards and networkingwith delegates from around the world.

For Halifax electronic pop band Vogue Dots, this week has been itsfirst opportunity to showcase itsnew sound to the music industry. The group is made up of producers Babette Hayward and Tynan Dunfield.

Vogue Dotspicked up anECMA nomination for itsalbum Toska, which was up for Electronic Music Recording of the Year.

We asked Hayward to share with us one of the duo's most memorable moments from itsfirst East Coast Music Week.

"Our best moment was probably getting to play on the Electronic Music Stage at the George StreetBeer Market," she said."It was really nice to see the scene on the East Coast represented so strongly. There was an amazing crowd, the room sounded greatand we made some new friends. Sometimes, the electronic scene on the East Coast can seem kind of small, so it was great to get everyone in one place and see what they're working on. It really makes you feel inspired after a show like that, the sense of community is a good motivator."
