Halifax Regional Police are investigating another case of found money.

On Saturday, officers were called out to Scotia Square after an employee at Starbucks found an envelope of cash under a chair around 11:20 a.m.

Police say the envelope was sealed and the money held together with a silver paper clip.

Officers turned to mall security who was unable to find any information on the owner.

Police are asking the owner of the cash or anyone with information to come to them.

In order to claim it, police say the person must be able to tell them the specific amount in the envelope and describe the denominations.

In February, police were called to a Value Village location after a large sum of money was found in a set of curtains in a donation bag.
